Full Brogue Oxford

The full brogue — wingtip toe, perforated W-shaped seam running across the quarters and back around the heel — is one of the oldest shoe constructions in existence and one of the few that has never needed updating. Originally a Scottish field shoe, it spent the twentieth century being adopted by every tier of dress from country weekend to City boardroom. Worn here in a burnished coffee leather that develops deeper tone at the seams and edges, shot alongside a shoehorn and a black bow tie, which tells you everything about the range of occasions it covers.
